A cornerstone in history, wonderful nature, magnificent weather and a unique experience and happiness that will embrace you... Yes, some of you may have understood, while others may have wondered. This is Kayaköy.

Nea Makri Hotel, which is built on a land of 3,500 m2 in Kayaköy, Fethiye, whose history dates back to 3000 BC, is where the Lycian Way begins, and consists of 6 bungalow houses in a lush nature.

Stylish, tiny houses built in the American tiny house style and integrated with their surroundings will welcome you. We went, we examined, and we liked it very much.

Named after the city Nea Makri, meaning New Far Land, which was re-established by the refugees near Athens after emigrating from Kayaköy during the population exchange, the facility is a very nice alternative for those who want to spend a quiet holiday.

Swimming in the pool in the huge garden of Nea Makri and walking on the Lycian Way, one of the oldest and most important roads in the world starting from Kayaköy and continuing to Ölüdeniz and to Antalya, are among the activities you can do. If you are a sea lover, the shipyards and even the crystal clear and turquoise beaches in and around Ölüdeniz will be waiting for you.

If you visit in the autumn or spring months, we will have a special advice for you: While you are touring the village, which is now a museum area, do not forget to collect the fresh and fragrant thyme, which you will encounter along the way.

✏️Notes We Take While Traveling:

The houses are 24 m2/33 m2, made of chestnut wood. They fit everything you need into houses, kitchens, etc. The perimeter of the pool section is made of cedar wood. The houses are single story or duplex. It has a very luxurious and modern design.

Distances: 8 km to the sea, 60 km to the airport, 8 km to the city center.

We stayed for 1 week in July 2022. We tried it for the first time, but we were so comfortable that we regretted not making a longer reservation. We were absolutely delighted. We felt very comfortable, especially as a family with two children aged 5 and 9. Having the pool directly in front of the bungalow allowed us to relax without worrying about security. We also had the opportunity to visit many bays around Fethiye and swim in the sea. The fresh bagels, tomatoes, cucumbers, jams and eggs they left at our door every morning for breakfast made us very happy and satisfied as we started the day. The quality of the towels, sheets or covers offered for us to use at the facility and the clean smell of detergent were truly satisfactory for hygiene lovers. Finally, with the attention and friendliness of Mr. Serhat and his wife, we had a very pleasant holiday. We recommend it to everyone with peace of mind.

We arrived at Nea Makri mentally and physically very tired. We returned refreshed at the end of a two-week peaceful holiday. We were actually a little nervous at first because of our 3.5-year-old son who has an allergy, but whatever we needed was met quickly and with care. The most important aspect of Nea Makri was the friendliness of the family that runs it. You see this, you see how they care, how they host rather than trade. They are good people inside and out, beautiful people. The nature is beautiful, the hotel is beautiful, the location is great. It was very good, I swear I'm glad to have you. We would also like to thank the small hotels for their interest, kindness and coordination from beginning to end 👍
