
Places to see in Agva
Kalemköy: It is known that the church ruins in Kalemköy belong to the Romans. In addition, it is known that various tombstones in Kalemköy date back to the Roman period.
Hacıllı Village: There is Gürlek Cave in Hacıllı Village, Gürlek Cave is known to date from the late 3rd century according to the studies and researches. There is also a castle ruin dating from these dates in Hisar Tepe in Hacıllı Village.
Sungurlu Neighborhood: There is a mountain mill in the Sungurlu Neighborhood of Ağva, the exact date of which is unknown; but it is estimated to be from the Turks who first settled in the region. The local people living in Agva are called manavs. It is said that these people, who are accepted as the natives of Ağva today, are Turkmen tribes coming from Balıkesir, Karaman and Konya regions in the 14th century.

Ağva is one of the rare and untouched towns of Istanbul. It has a beach with a coast of 3 kilometers to the Black Sea and there are also very large beaches, bays and natural sea caves in various regions. With this feature, it is home to beauties that cannot be found both in Istanbul and in the Marmara Region. Since Ağva is surrounded by pine forests and is on the Black Sea coast, it has a clean air.
