How about a little nature getaway to Agva? We think you should take note of this place @wineportlodgeagva Romantic corners, rooms with fireplaces, being on the river and delicious food are the features that attracted us. An environment where you will feel special at every point. The nature, the view of the river is heartwarming. Usually small and boutique hotels are bed and breakfast concept, but here there is also a half board option. Only drinks are extra. The hotel has a total of 12 rooms in three different types. We visited all of them one by one. Except for the standard rooms, there is a jacuzzi or fireplace in the standard rooms, and in the Queen rooms, in addition to the fireplace and jacuzzi, there is a hammam and sauna in the bathroom. The antique sconces in the rooms add a nice dimness to the environment, and the bathrooms are covered with marble. The fragrance of the white linens on the fluffy beds gave us peace. The jams served at breakfast are prepared by themselves with fresh products according to the season. All kinds of cheese, butter and honey are bought from Ağva and Şile region. We bought it on our way back. Their flavors are very ambitious, and when we look at the comments, they are generally successful in the kitchen. There is a pool in the hotel, the sun loungers look very stylish and comfortable. We will visit them again in the summer deneriz☺️. Come in the spring, either by the pool or by the river, read your book, sunbathe, put on your headphones and listen to music, very different pleasure. In the evenings you can enjoy the fireplace in the hotel, there is also a wine house in the hotel. There is a live performance with guitar every night except Monday. If you ask where and what to eat in Ağva; Gizlibahçe restaurant for breakfast, Liman restaurant for lunch and dinner, "simitçi, kahveci, gazozcu" can be tried as a cafe. In the region, adventure and nature walks in Hacıllı waterfalls and 11 lakes valley, unique Black Sea view and trekking trail in Kilimli bay, river safari in Göksu river are the activities that can be done.

How to go

Istanbul - Agva (80 km from Ümraniye) - 1st Route Following the Ümraniye-Sile road, 5 km after the Şile junction (lights), on the fork road, using the Agva coastal road, following the Kabakoz, İmrenli, Akçakese and Kurfallı route to reach Agva hotels. - 2nd Route You can reach Agva hotels by following the Ümraniye-Şile road, turning right (300m) just after the Şile junction (lights), following the sign of Imrendere, Gebze, Agva, following the Ovacık and Teke route. - 3rd Route Following Ümraniye-Şile road, 5 km after the Şile junction (lights), you can follow the Agva sign (right) and follow the Teke route on the mountain road. Which one should I use? - Route 2 is the shortest route. You can see many historical villages on this road. You can see many beautiful villas and gardens along the Ovacik valley. It is also the most beautiful forest view.

Our standard rooms, which are designed in a neo-country style, with emphasis on natural stone and wood, and decorated with comfort and aesthetics in mind, open to the garden. In many of the rooms; There are reliefs, gold-plated appliqués and artistic paintings made by stonemasons. Our natural stones are mainly from Cappadocia, Uşak, Denizli and Bursa regions. Porcelain was used on the floors of the bathrooms and marble was used on the walls. There is a fireplace in the room.

Hello... I went to Wineport Lodge for the weekend on 29/01/2011. We were very pleased to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is a very successful establishment, we felt like we were staying in a 5-star hotel, and that's exactly what happened, I think we had dinner in one of the 5-star hotels and restaurants. We had dinner and breakfast. The owner Mr. Hasim and his staff were very friendly and we had a very nice holiday thanks to them. We are glad we chose Ağva and Wineport Lodge. When we wanted to escape from Istanbul as soon as possible, we understood that we had a second home. I highly recommend it, especially for our wedding anniversary. It's great on special occasions like Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve.
