Places to see in Bursa City

Bursa Teleferik Teferrüç Station: I took the cable car from Teferrüç Station to enjoy a panoramic view of the city and a pleasant ride to Uludağ. As I ascended, the green texture of Bursa and the cityscape were spread under my feet. This experience was one of the most beautiful ways to be one with nature.

Koza Han Located in the center of the city, this historic inn is known as the heart of the silk trade. While sitting in the courtyard and having a cup of tea, I examined the beautiful silk products exhibited in the shops around me. The pleasure of shopping in history was really different.

Tofaş Bursa Anatolian Cars Museum: An unmissable place for car enthusiasts. Here I discovered classic cars collected from all over Anatolia and the history of Tofaş. Learning the stories behind each vehicle was like a pleasant journey into the past.

Karagöz Museum: I saw the most beautiful examples of traditional Turkish shadow play here. Stepping into the fun world of Karagöz and Hacivat revived my childhood memories. The demonstrations and exhibitions at the museum showed once again how valuable this art is.

Bursa Ulu Cami: When I entered the Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in the city, I was impressed by the spaciousness and simplicity of the interior. As I walked around the fountain in the center, I admired the examples of calligraphy on the walls.

Green Mosque and Green Mausoleum:Located in the Green neighborhood, these buildings are elegant examples of Ottoman architecture. The tile decorations inside the mosque and the green tiles on the exterior of the tomb are like a work of art. It is impossible not to find peace here.

Muradiye Complex: Built by Sultan Murad II, this complex includes a mosque, madrasah, baths and tombs. While walking around the garden, it was possible to feel the traces of the Ottoman dynasty. It offered me a walking experience intertwined with history.

Emir Sultan Mosque: One of the places that best reflects the spiritual atmosphere of Bursa. As I sat in the courtyard of the mosque and watched the surroundings, I realized what an important place to visit. I was fascinated by the architectural details and the peaceful atmosphere.

Osmangazi and Orhangazi Tomb: The tombs of Osman Gazi and his son Orhan Gazi, the founders of the Ottoman Empire, are located side by side in Tophane Park.

I was thrilled to be here, in the lands where the foundations of the Ottoman Empire were laid. It was really impressive to breathe in the historical atmosphere.

Grand Bazaar: One of the places where the heart of Bursa's commercial life beats. As I wandered through the narrow streets, I came across many different businesses from spice shops to jewelry stores, textile shops to souvenir shops. It was a pleasure to be intertwined with history while shopping.

Irgandı Bridge: One of the rare bridges in the world with a bazaar on it. It was a very pleasant experience to watch and chat with the artisans working on handicrafts in the workshops on the bridge. I was impressed by the historical texture and artistic atmosphere of the bridge.

Tophane Clock Tower: This clock tower, located at a point overlooking the city, is one of the symbols of Bursa.

Watching the city from here offers an unforgettable view, especially at sunset. It is a must-visit place with its historical texture and the places around it.
