Things to do in Mugla

When you come to Muğla, you can go to the coastal resorts on day trips. Bodrum, Datça, Marmaris and Fethiye are of course not the resorts of Muğla that you can visit in one day, but you can spend time by the sea here. You can join daily boat tours and enjoy the sea and sun. You can also take part in water sports such as diving, canoeing, rafting and windsurfing.

You can taste the local dishes of Muğla in the restaurants serving home-cooked meals in the center of Muğla. Do not forget to taste the tahini halva and çıtırmık dessert unique to the region after dinner.

You can hike, bike and camp in Muğla's many protected nature parks. You can go to Karabağlar Plateau. You can engage in bird watching in areas such as Lake Bafa and its surroundings and the Gulluk Delta.

You can paraglide in Babadağ. You can do jeep safari in Muğla's forests full of pine trees.
