Places to Eat in Paros
Eating in Paros isn’t just about satisfying your hunger it’s about soaking in the Aegean vibe and making every moment of your holiday a little more special. During our days on the island, we discovered a few spots we really enjoyed.
Fotis Cafe is located right in the heart of Naoussa, just by the water. In the morning, with the fresh air and a view of the deep blue sea, you can enjoy a simple yet satisfying breakfast of eggs, white cheese, tomatoes, and freshly squeezed orange juice all at a very reasonable price. It was so peaceful that we found ourselves back there the next day.
While exploring Naoussa, we also came across the much-talked-about Barbarossa Taverna. Yes, it’s stylish and very popular. The crowd is elegant, and the setting is lovely but we found the food a bit underwhelming in terms of flavor. Plus, the prices are a bit above the Paros average.
Just across the small bay from the taverna is Barbarossa Bar, which offers a more laid-back alternative. It's a great spot to have a drink outdoors with a nice atmosphere. Right next to it, there’s Agosta, which also has a good vibe and decent music.
When we made our way to Parikia, we stumbled upon Apollon Taverna a hidden gem with a surprisingly large garden. Turns out, it’s one of the most famous tavernas on the island. The prices are on the higher end, but the ambiance and quality of the food make it worth it.
Based on TripAdvisor reviews, here are a few more recommendations: In Naoussa, Sigi Ikthios stands out for its seafood. In Parikia, Statheros Meze Place and Levantis are both praised for their meze and homemade flavors. And if you find yourself in Pollonia, Yialos is a perfect place for a peaceful seafood meal by the harbor.
You don’t need to overthink where to eat in Paros. Most places will greet you with a warm welcome and a delicious plate. The best part? Sitting by the sea, enjoying a light breeze, and savoring every bite slowly and fully.
