If you're visiting the beautiful holiday destination of Alaçatı, you might be wondering where to go. Don't worry, we have some great recommendations for you.

If you’ve never tried windsurfing before, Çark Beach is perfect for you. There are many surf schools in the Liman area, and if you don’t have your own equipment, you can rent from these schools.

Take a stroll down Kemalpaşa Street and browse through the antique shops and boutiques. For a glimpse of Alaçatı’s history, head towards Hacı Memiş Neighborhood. It’s a very peaceful place with stone houses and village cafes. Maybe you'll even want to take some photos.

Alaçatı is also home to Turkey’s first wind energy plant. So, make sure you stop by and take a photo of the wind turbines that are located at the entrance to the town. Additionally, there are thermal springs in Alaçatı that have been gaining popularity in recent years and are believed to have healing properties. You can visit these thermal sources to rejuvenate yourself.

For historical landmarks, you can visit the Ayios Kostantinos Church (now Pazaryeri Mosque). Don’t miss seeing the famous cut-stone Alaçatı houses, and be sure to take photos surrounded by the colorful flowers in front of the homes.

Lastly, make sure to see the mastic trees that are abundant in Alaçatı. These trees, which are rare in the world, can only be found in Alaçatı in Turkey. Be sure to inhale their unique scent before you leave.

Hacı Memiş neighborhood has grown a lot and is now a must-visit spot with its antique shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Nightlife in Alaçatı

We are lucky because there is a loud music ban in the village, and all venues must lower the volume after midnight out of consideration for the local residents. This ensures a pleasant and balanced nightlife experience. If you're looking for good music, drinks, and lively conversation after dinner, the place to go is definitely Salça. A small, stylish bar owned by our dear friend DJ Cenk from Istanbul, with its “Satsuma” cocktails, it’s a must-stop. Especially on weekdays, this venue is packed with regulars and is known as the sweetest bar in Alaçatı.

Before starting your Hacı Memiş tour, I also recommend stopping by the hidden gem Karadut Bar at the Taşhan Hotel. For a more relaxed vibe with great music and intimate conversations, Göz Lokal in Hacı Memiş is one of our favorites. For a drink after dinner, Alarga, Unter, and Kapari Bahçe in Hacı Memiş, as well as Göz Lounge and Mi Casa along the Kemalpaşa route, are great options.

For younger crowds, you can check out Nar Alaçatı, Sobe, Tektekçi, House 44, Vida, and İyi Pizza.

For those looking to dance all night, Riders Mood in the Alaçatı Bay is the right place. Cozy in Aya Yorgi Bay transforms into a restaurant, bar, and nightclub at night. It’s an ideal spot for watching the moonrise while dining, and they even have live rock bands on Sunday evenings. Other fun nightlife spots in Aya Yorgi include Sole Mare and Marrakech.
