How to go to Aegina Island
The most practical way to get to Aegina is to take the ferry from Piraeus Port in Athens. Ferries leave frequently throughout the day. You can reach the island in about 40 minutes with the fast ferries and 1-1.5 hours with the classic ferries. You can buy ferry tickets at the port if you want, but especially if you are going in summer, it is better to book online. You can easily check the times and prices on sites like Ferryhopper.
Which Ferry to Choose?
Fast Ferries (Flying Dolphins): Carrying passengers only, fast and comfortable.
Classic Ferries: They take both passengers and vehicles. If you want to go with your car, this should be the choice. Ticket prices usually vary between 10-20 Euros.
