Galata Antique Hotel is a beautiful historical pavilion remaining from the extravagant Pera of old times, located in Tünel, an elite district of Beyoğlu. It was built by the famous architect Alexandre Vallaury in 1881 for the Decugis, one of the famous Levantine families of the period.
The history, the architecture and the fact that the original owners lived for a long time in Pera compelled the current owners, who are interested in history and learning, to open this hotel. With an amateur’s spirit, they are committed to offering premium services based on guest satisfaction, without compromising quality and comfort. Each with a different hint of design, the 23 classically decorated rooms unfold details dating from 19th century Pera. Some of the rooms feature oriel windows or a balcony, while some are on the attic floor, with some overlooking the Galata Tower and Golden Horn.
This beautiful building of the past awaits guests who want to be enchanted by the thrilling texture of Beyoğlu, the district that hosted various civilizations and cultures. Let us not forget to recommend you try the Dilly’s Chocolate Cakes, the unique delicacy of the hotel.
