With its rich history, stunning nature, crystal-clear sea, and beautiful beaches, Assos has become a popular tourist destination in recent years, offering a variety of activities.
First and foremost, when you arrive in Assos, make sure to take a walk by the seaside. Walking along the Sokakağzı beach in the fresh morning air while capturing the surroundings in photographs can be a refreshing experience.
If you’re traveling by car, you’re not limited to swimming only near your hotel. You can explore more secluded coves by car and enjoy swimming at a different spot each day of your vacation.
You can plan a nature walk in Kaz Mountains, known as one of the places with the highest oxygen levels in the world. It will leave you feeling refreshed. You can also visit Yeşilyurt Village, nestled on the slopes of the Kaz Mountains. Walking through the village and enjoying a cup of coffee amidst the authentic atmosphere of historical houses can be quite pleasant. For adventure lovers, the guided Gürle Waterfall Hike is a must-see. The waterfall is about 20 meters high, and the round-trip hike covers a total of 16 kilometers. The difficulty level is around 4 out of 5, and it takes approximately 6-7 hours to complete.
