How to get to Symi Island
To get to Symi Island, first of all, you need to know that there is no airport on the island, so you can only get here by sea. If you are traveling from Turkey, you have a few different options. One of the most practical ways is to take the ferries from Bodrum directly to Symi. Sailing times are usually between 60 and 90 minutes, but it's worth checking in advance as times can change periodically.
Alternatively, you can cross to Rhodes from Fethiye or Marmaris, then take one of the regular ferries from Rhodes to Symi. This option is especially good for those who want to see Rhodes before visiting Symi.
