There are red and orange colored sands with different structures on the hill and there is also Kumbaba's tomb in the region. Kumbaba was a chemist who found that the sands in the region were good for many diseases. He used to heal the sick here. When he died, he was buried here and the hill was named after him.
You can see the water coming out of the stones a little behind the Şile Lighthouse. Because of this natural formation, this place was named Crying Rocks. You can go to Şile Ocaklı Island Castle.
In addition to natural beauties, there are many churches and monasteries from the Byzantine period or mosques, inns and baths from the Ottoman period. You can visit these places. You can see Şile houses, which are different in architecture.
