Places to visit in Erciyes

Mount Erciyes is a place to visit in itself and when you go up the mountain, there are also caves near the summit where Greek monks once retreated. There is already Erciyes Ski Center on the mountain and many winter sports can be practiced here. There are also hills such as Beleşma, Karasığır, Kepez and Lipaz. Kıranardı City Forest is also one of the natural places to visit. Here you can have a picnic and do sportive activities. It is an ideal place for jogging, hiking, camping and summer activities. Erciyes Equestrian Facilities is an activity-oriented facility just like the other facilities and welcomes visitors in droves. Apart from that, since coming to Mount Erciyes means coming to Kayseri, there are history & culture tours organized by Kayseri Municipality and you can participate in them with two options as 'Short Tour' and 'Long Tour'. Kayseri Castle and Clock Tower are other places to see as important symbols of the city. Kayseri Cumhuriyet Square is also reminiscent of the classic Anatolian squares, which are busy every hour of the week and where Kayseri-specific products are located. It is one of the most lively places in the city.
