Places to Eat in Skopelos
You can't visit Skopelos and not have a delicious meal with a beautiful view. It is not only a natural paradise where green meets blue, but also full of places that will fill your stomach and your soul. Seafood, olive oil dishes, fresh appetizers and, of course, afternoon views accompanied by a glass of ouzo.
Agnanti Restaurant (Glossa): One of the most famous restaurants on the island. Panoramic sea views, delicious homemade appetizers and fresh seafood make it a feast for the eyes. It is a pleasure to be here especially at sunset.
Perivoli Taverna (Skopelos Town): Set in the greenery, it's like eating in a garden. It is highly praised for its homemade appetizers, grilled calamari and traditional meat dishes. Quiet, shabby but friendly atmosphere.
Molos Taverna (Stafilos Road): Right on the shore of the sea, feet almost touching the water. The fish is as fresh as if it was caught that morning, the service is friendly and the prices are average. We especially recommend the grilled octopus and zucchini hash browns.
Ouzeri Anatoli (Skopelos Town): The view is spectacular, the music is lively and the food is very Greek. Also frequented by locals. Don't miss the stuffed zucchini blossoms with cheese.
Ta Kimata (In the harbor): Eating fresh calamari and salads while drinking ouzo under the moonlight in the harbor where yachts dock? This is exactly what that dream is all about.
Cafes
Cafe Asterias: A cozy cafe overlooking the harbor. Stop by for breakfast or an ice cream and frappe break. There is a peaceful seating area and it is pleasant to watch the passers-by.
To Kanoni: One of the oldest cafes in Skopelos. Sit in the garden and have a baklava or orange cake with Greek coffee. Quiet, simple, with a very local touch.
Koukouvagia (Kukuvaya) Cafe: Like an oasis hidden in nature. With its shady garden, homemade lemonade and light snacks, it's the perfect place to cool off and read a book on a hot day.
Bars
Palia Istoria Bar: A nostalgic bar with stone walls. It's as if time has stopped. Old Greek music, dim light, a few tables... It's a place to relax. The local wines are also very good.
The Drifters (Panormos): A place right by the beach serving cocktails all day long. In the evening, it gets colorful with DJ performances and tables full of laughter. I recommend going at sunset.
Muses Bar (Skopelos Town): If you're looking for something a little younger and lively, Muses is the place for you. It offers light dance music and a fresh atmosphere for summer evenings. Their mojito is quite famous.
Mercurius Cocktail Bar (Bonus Tip): A stylish yet cozy cocktail bar in the town of Skopelos. With its extensive drink menu and attentive presentation, it's the perfect place to start a good night.
