How to get to Mersin

Transportation by Road: There are regular bus services to Mersin from many cities in Turkey. There are frequent daily bus services from Ankara to Mersin and the journey takes approximately 6 hours. Ticket prices may vary according to the companies and the season.

Transportation by Air: The nearest airport to Mersin is Adana Şakirpaşa Airport, which is approximately 67 km away. There are regular flights from here to cities such as Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul and Izmir. You can use the buses departing from the airport to Mersin city center every half hour; this journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Transportation by Rail: There is no direct train service from Ankara to Mersin. However, it is possible to reach Mersin by train via Adana. You can travel from Ankara to Adana by train and then from Adana to Mersin by train or bus.

After reaching Mersin, there are options such as bus, minibus and taxi for transportation within the city. You can use bus lines 113, 114, 115, 116, 116, 122, 139 and 167 from Mersin Bus Terminal to the city center.
