Things to do in Demre

Beaches

Beaches 15-17 km away:

Cayagzi Beach (Demre): The sea shore is sandy, waveless and there is a lot of shallow area in the sea. Since there is a constant flow of cold water from the cold water sources in the sea, the sea water can be cold in places.

Sülüklü Beach (Demre): The sea shore is sandy, wavy and the shallow area in the sea is quite high.

Taşdibi Beach (Demre): The seashore is stony, waveless and there are very few shallow areas in the sea.

Kekova : Due to its location, it provides the opportunity to swim in many bays only during a boat trip.

Kas beaches: Since the geographical structure of Kaş is rocky, the sea is very clear and it is possible to see every shade of blue. Kaş is famous for its beaches on both sides of the sea at Büyük Çakıl, Küçük Çakıl, Limanağzı and

Kaputas beach A canyon mouth beach on the coastal road between Kas and Kalkan. The water is generally cool and turquoise in color as a result of the water flowing underground and filtering through the sand on the seashore. The beach is reached by descending 187 steps from the highway.
