Places to See in Patmos

Monastery of Saint John the Theologian: This 11th-century Byzantine monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the most important monasteries in Greece. It houses an impressive collection of religious artifacts and artwork.

Cave of the Apocalypse: According to tradition, this cave is where Saint John the Apostle wrote the Book of Revelation. The cave is located near the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian and is a popular site for pilgrims

Chora: The island's main town is a picturesque maze of narrow streets and white-washed houses. Chora is home to several historic churches and museums, as well as plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops.

Beaches: Patmos has several beautiful beaches, including Psili Ammos, Grikos, and Kambos. Many of these beaches are secluded and can only be reached by foot or boat.

Skala: The island's main port town is a popular destination for tourists and offers plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Skala is also home to the Patmos Archaeological Museum, which houses artifacts from ancient times.

Agriolivado: This small village is located in the hills above Skala and offers stunning views of the island and surrounding sea. Agriolivado is home to several beautiful churches and is a great place to go hiking or biking.
