Places to Eat in Samos Island
Hygge: A simple but elegant place in the center of Pythagorion. Ideal for coffee and brunch in the early hours of the day. You can find all kinds of avocado and egg pairings on the menu, they know how to do it “on toast”. If you want a sweet treat, their pancakes and bowl options are also delicious. For those who want to spend a quiet morning, it is an address that is good for the stomach and soul.
P2 Cafe: A tiny cafe that you may come across while walking down the cobblestone side streets. In addition to a refreshing Greek frappe, they have a dessert called “galaktoboureko” that will tempt even those who have no sweet tooth. Crispy on the outside and full of cream on the inside. The right choice for a simple afternoon break.
Two Spoons: This place is the answer to the question “where to eat dessert?” in Samos. It is set in a shady garden under the trees. The menu is rich, but the profiterole is one of the standout flavors. Made with real chocolate and topped with plenty of sauce. The coffee is also quite good. Perfect for a coffee after dessert.
Antigoni's Deli Concept: A sandwich shop in the morning and a wine bar in the evening. The sandwiches and cheese plates prepared with local products are both simple and filling. It is impossible to leave the deli section without tasting the local flavors of Samos. Even a little jam or cheese from here can remind you of the island when you return home.
Garlic GrillHouse: Perhaps the most delicious version of gyros, the fast-food of Greek cuisine, is here. Served with a choice of chicken or pork, the pita sandwiches are quite filling. Even if you don't sit down and eat them, it's a great idea to take them to go and eat them on the beach.
Meltemi Restaurant : Meltemi, which has a table on the beach of Kokkari, looks simple, but it is a flavor stop. The menu is full of fresh seafood. Grilled squid, shrimp, octopus and a light white wine or ouzo. It is not for nothing that it is one of the favorites of Turkish travelers; it is quite suitable for our taste buds.
