Places to see in Amasra

Amasra, which is a place to get away even on weekends with its location close to metropolitan cities, has many places to see with its historical and natural beauties. But first of all, you should visit Amasra Castle, which dates back to the Roman period and was also used by the Genoese. From the castle, which reflects the medieval landscape even today, you can watch the district and maybe even witness the sunset.

You can go to Bozköy Beach with its clean and quiet beach and even enjoy the sea and the sun if you are in the summer months. You can reach Boztepe, the most beautiful place to watch the sunrise in the district, by taking a morning walk. You can refresh yourself with the fresh mountain air.

You can visit Gürcüoluk Cave, which is about 10 minutes away from the district. You can go to the Amasra Museum in the district center. You can see the bridge connecting the island to the land. You can watch the place known as Rabbit Island with binoculars from the seaside.
