Places to eat in Cirali
Advice from the editor: Cirali Simge Restaurant's ‘pizza four seasons’ is amazing, you should try it.
If you crave for fish, go to Ulupınar Village, where Çıralı is located. Eat stewed trout at Şelale Restaurant (0242 825 00 25; www.selalerestoran.com), located at the spring in the village built on the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. Don't forget to add Azur Aida, Harman Restaurant and Oleander Restaurant, which prepare delicious hot and cold seafood by the sea in Çıralı, to your program. If you climb Yanartaş in the evening, don't forget to eat sausage on a wood fire.
If you want to cool off during the day, we have a nice suggestion for you: melon ice cream. Do not return without trying this local flavor.
Karakuş Restaurant: Located on Cirali beach, the restaurant serves international cuisine, and all the dishes are delicious. Say hello to Ms. Zeynep or Ms. Ayfer for us. You can also have a romantic dinner at Olympos Lodge Hotel. Say hello to Ziya and Aysen for us. If you want a place that cooks meat like Nusret, then go to Baraka House and Ihsan Bey. These 3 places are my special recommendation.
Çıralı is a first and second degree natural protected area. That's why you won't find many luxury hotels or cafes and restaurants here. You will also encounter pancake aunts here, which is a must for every holiday destination. There are many restaurants where you can eat delicious pancakes made by the local Yoruk people. The pancakes are made with all natural ingredients and are served with feta cheese, kashkaval, potato and minced meat as well as chocolate, honey and tahini. SILA GÖZLEME AND HOME COOKS, made by Mrs. Ayşe and Mrs. Günay themselves, are delicious and humble. Settle into the chairs under wicker umbrellas at the Orange Restaurant, surrounded by citrus trees, and eat the cheese pancakes and drink the foamy buttermilk made in a churn, which tourists call 'Yoruk whiskey'.
