Things to do in Tekirdag

If you are ever in Tekirdag, take a quiet walk by the sea. While the sweet breeze of the Marmara Sea hits your face, take a bagel in your hand and order your tea in a cafe. Then the city will open itself to you a little. Wander through its historic streets and take a look at the old houses. Stop by the Rakoczi Museum and say “wow” to history. If you get hungry around noon, head to a meatball shop. Top it with Hayrabolu dessert and some coffee. Go to Uçmakdere - the road is a bit winding but the view is worth it. If you have time, watch the sunset at Hora Lighthouse, your soul will rest and so will your soul.
