Places to Eat in Tilos Island

There are many good options for food and drink on the Livadia coast of Tilos, but not all of them offer the same experience. Taverna Michalis, though far from the sea view, is a favorite among the islanders for its setting under the trees and delicious appetizers. Especially the dishes prepared by the Bulgarian chef are very successful. Gorgona Roof Restaurant, although not overlooking the sea, won our hearts with its attentive service, especially the roasted goat dish, and is definitely one of the places to go again. Ino Bar offers a pleasant atmosphere for lovers of retro rock music until late at night. Mikro Cafe is one of the best places to watch the sunset accompanied by relaxing music; like many vacationers, we couldn't resist going there every evening. However, not all places are equally successful. Sofia's Taverna looks warm and inviting from the outside, but unfortunately the quality of the food does not support this image. Kritikos Restaurant also has a great view, but the food was well below our expectations. On an island like Tilos, which stands out with its food, it is not worth choosing again when there are more elaborate alternatives.

Delfinia Cafe is one of the best places to start the day in the morning. The breakfasts served with a view of the deep blue sea are delicious and peaceful. Local flavors, snacks and beverage options are perfect for breathing at any time of the day. For those looking for a quieter and cooler environment, Kastellorizo Cafe is ideal. Especially its homemade desserts and traditional Greek coffees add a sweet touch to summer evenings. Later in the day, if you want to have a drink or chat with friends, The Olive Tree Bar welcomes you with its friendly atmosphere. The cocktails are attentive and sometimes live music makes the evenings even more enjoyable. Tilos Bar, also favored by locals, offers a more low-key, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for sitting and chatting with friends. When it's time for dinner, Taverna Tilos captures the spirit of the island best. Fresh seafood, traditional appetizers and classic Greek flavors await you in its intimate atmosphere. If you're looking for a more elegant experience, you can enjoy the view and modern interpretations of Greek cuisine at Kastro Restaurant. And if you want to spend an evening in a more traditional and tranquil corner of the island, immersed in village life, Mikro Chorio Taverna is the place for you. With local wines and home-cooked food, it's like a trip back in time.
