🌊 Sometimes, all you want is to escape—from the noise, the crowds, the endless notifications… And right at such a moment, one of the Aegean’s hidden corners called out to me: Medinn Hotel, on the peaceful, quiet, and history-scented shore of Güllük Bay.

🛥️ As I approach the hotel, the first thing I feel is calmness. It’s truly quiet here. You know that saying, “Sometimes silence is louder than a scream”? That’s exactly what this place feels like—it whispers, “Welcome.” And I whisper back, “Thank you…”

🌴 The beach is right in front of me. I can’t take my eyes off the shore. The sand is soft, and while the sea is rocky at first, it’s shallow… The water is so clear, I feel its coolness on my skin before I even swim. I dig my feet into the sand and smile to myself: “Why didn’t I come here sooner?”

👣 During the day, I explore the surroundings of Güllük. A little village tour (Çomakdağ feels like it exists outside of time), a little fishing, a little wine tasting… And then I learn that this is more than just a bay—it’s a historical site bearing the traces of the legend of Hermiyas. I’m surprised. Every stone in the Aegean seems to hold a story, but this one feels different.

🥂 In the evening, I feel like going out. First, a table full of seafood at Ata 1935 Restaurant, then mezes and a light Aegean breeze at Kırçın Restaurant… As I wonder “Should I have pizza for dessert?”, I find myself at Pita Pizza. (These conversations with myself are starting to get a little dangerous…)
