I’m on the terrace of one of Selimiye’s newest gems, Loca Hill. The place is run by the Balcı family, the warm-hearted folks behind Loca Hotel, which they’ve been operating in the same spot for 12 years. Their beautiful energy is infused into every corner of this new hotel. Perched at the top of Selimiye, the terrace overlooks a breathtaking sea view that stretches endlessly.

🌿 When this lovely ambiance is paired with such sweetness, you can’t help but say, “I’m so glad I came.” The 5 o’clock tea is a classic here—enjoy it on the terrace or by the pool, wherever you prefer.

🏡 Each of the 7 rooms at @selimiyelocahill is breezy and many offer sea views. The atmosphere is cozy, heartfelt, and simple—this view will lull you to sleep like a lullaby. The rooms are named after local areas of Selimiye—Buruncuk, Sığ Liman, Gemecit, Armutçuk... You’ll find the name of your room on a handmade ceramic door sign crafted by the host.
🥘 Breakfast is served by the pool, under fig and lemon trees in a garden full of olive trees. As the pool’s waterfall cools the air, a spread of happiness arrives at your table. The hot dishes change daily, greens are fresh, jams are homemade, and the olives and olive oil are local.
❤️‍🔥 I’d say Selimiye is one of the most peaceful, bluest, and most delightful spots in Marmaris. The sea is always calm, like a sheet. The lively and colorful town center is easily accessible with the hotel’s free shuttle service. Just as lovely as your time on land is a boat trip around the coves. ⛵ Take Captain Şener’s “Sılanur 3”, for example…

🍽️ My alternative dining recommendations: #KöşeRestaurant for home-cooked meals, Mehmet’in Yeri in Delikyol Bay, Deniz Restaurant, Rafet Baba in Çiftlik Bay, and don’t miss the cotton candy lemonade at Paprika.

🏊‍♀️ @selimiyelocahill is just 1 km from the sea. The beach in the center is rocky, while Sığ Liman at the end of Selimiye is sandy and public. For swimming, I highly recommend Delikyol and Çiftlik Bays. While exploring the area, make sure to visit Turgut Waterfall, Bayır Village, and Kız Kumu.

LOCA HILL… In the summer of 2024, our new hotel will open its doors, and as the entire LOCA team, we look forward to welcoming our guests with the same friendship, the same dedication. Reservation Cancellation And Refund Terms

50% of the total amount is required for the reservation. The remaining amount is requested upon check-in at the hotel. Cancellations made up to 30 days before the check-in date will result in a refund of the deposit. Unfortunately, cancellations made later than that will not be refunded. No refund will be issued if the reservation is not used. In case of early departure, payments made will not be refunded.

How to go

Loca Hill is located on the road from Selimiye to Bozburun. Our guests who will come with their own vehicles can see the Loca Hill sign on the road after continuing from Selimiye towards Bozburun.

Our guests arriving by plane can choose Dalaman or Bodrum Airports. They can rent a car from both local and corporate companies at both airports.

If our passengers coming from Dalaman Airport want to use public transportation; They can first reach Marmaris (bus terminal) with Havaş or Muttaş shuttles. Then, they can take the Selimiye minibuses from Marmaris (bus terminal) to reach Selimiye. If they call us when they arrive in Selimiye, we will pick them up from the minibus stops free of charge and help them reach our hotel. Our guests who will come by bus can also reach Marmaris first and then Selimiye.

Kız Kumu1 m

Another must-see location is the area where you can walk all the way to the middle of the sea due to its unique physical structure.

Çiftlik Bay1 m

Located approximately 25 minutes by car from Loca Hill, Çiftlik Bay features private restaurants. You can use the beach of these retaurants in accordance with their specific policies. Loca Hill directs its guests to the Rafet Baba Restaurant, which is located within Çiftlik Bay.

Turgut Waterfall10 km

Turgut Waterfall, located in Turgut Village and surrounded by greenery, is a must-see location in our region and is frequently preferred by tourists.

Bayır Village10 km

It is a village famous for its 2000-year-old plane tree located in the center of the village. A few years ago, a TV series was filmed here. The village is known for its fountain in the center and the village café under the plane tree

Delikyol Bay10 km

This bay, located 10 km from Selimiye, is one of the best spots to watch the beautiful sunset. During the day, you can also use the beach of Deniz Restaurant located in the bay and enjoy swimming in the sea.
