Since he has traveled abroad for many years and is a true globetrotter, he has designed Kırkınca Mountain Houses as a place where guests can feel at ease and enjoy themselves.

So how did the story of @kirkinca_dagevleri, a place surrounded by striking nature, begin?

Mr. Üzeyir is one of Şirince’s most well-known and pleasant conversationalists, as well as one of its oldest tradesmen. About 25 years ago, the village house that his parents bought for their two sons to live in after marriage eventually turned Mr. Üzeyir into a seasoned tourism professional. Thinking, “Marriage can wait,” he and his brother transformed two houses in the village center into accommodations — and so their journey began. The central Kırkınca Hotel can be considered Mr. Üzeyir’s first beloved project. In 2004, he opened his restaurant, which he named Arşipel.

When he started the restaurant, he asked himself what new flavors he could introduce. Because, like us, he believes that there is always something new to be said. His signature eggplant soup quickly became famous as a delicious specialty. Not stopping there, Kırkınca Kebab and keşkek also became signature dishes of the restaurant.

Another remarkable quality of Mr. Üzeyir is that since the very beginning of his tourism adventure, he has always worked with the same team. Mr. Ali is one of these valuable colleagues.

After working intensively in the village center for many years, he decided to build a special mountain house in a spot offering one of the most magnificent views of Şirince. Over time, while living there with his family, he thought the house needed a neighbor. Thus, alongside his home, he added these mountain houses, which feature exquisite stone craftsmanship.

For the past 7 years, @kirkinca_dagevleri has been a peaceful retreat, often chosen by European travelers for both short and long stays, far from the crowds and prying eyes.
