How to go to Avanos

By Plane: The nearest airport to Avanos is the Kayseri Erkilet International Airport. From the airport, you can take a taxi or rent a car to drive to Avanos, which is about 75 kilometers away. By Bus: You can also reach Avanos by bus from major cities in Turkey, such as Istanbul, Ankara, or Izmir. You can also take a direct bus to Avanos from Kayseri or Goreme, which are both located within the Cappadocia region.

By Car: If you have a car, you can drive to Avanos from major cities in Turkey, such as Ankara or Istanbul. From Ankara, take the D200 highway towards Kayseri, and then follow the signs to Avanos. From Istanbul, take the E80 highway towards Ankara, and then follow the signs to Avanos. It is about a 10-hour drive from Istanbul and a 4-hour drive from Ankara.
