Cabras Mount Ida
I am in the lap of a lush green nature in Mount Ida, a place that the gods of Greek mythology have long since abandoned but left behind many stories. You have to live here to understand how slow life is and how peaceful it is. Cabras Kazdağları, built on 40 acres of land on the foothills of Mount Ida, is a version of the stone houses in the villages equipped with city modernity. You feel like you are on an authentic village vacation, but you are hosted in comfort with every detail thought out. Isn't it beautiful! It is also ambitious in gastronomy. They grow ancestral seeds in the garden and process the crops in their kitchen. So the flavor that comes to the plate is from the soil two steps away. And the meat is from fattened animals from nature with plenty of oxygen. Cabras Kazdağları's stone oven blends 500-year-old traditional Turkish carbohydrates with Italian Neapolitan dough. Not to mention the appetizers made with fresh herbs collected from the mountains. For God's sake, what's on the table that can't be eaten! Cabras Kazdağları's houses with their high ceilings, large windows and spacious interiors fill the air with the freshness of the mountains, while the garden in front of them makes you forget the city you live in. Without exception, you can watch the sunset view from all the houses and smell the aromatic scent of nature from all of them. We think the seasons you will see the most decorated Kazdağları are spring and autumn. But in the summer, the deep blue Aegean comes into play, and the winter landscapes are also very appealing. So what can we say, come in all seasons. If you plan your trip in Kazdağları, you can make great discoveries and turn small moments into big memories. Especially if you have a car! There are many places to see in this surprising region like an open-air museum, but the places we would definitely recommend you to see are Yeşilyurt Village, Glass Terrace Altınoluk and Assos. The activities we recommend are nature walks, village visits and jeep safari. When it comes to Aegean flavors and village products, the appetite goes through the roof. For seafood, Filinta Restaurant in Adatepe, Yengeç Restaurant in Küçükkuyu, Gulet Restaurant and Hasanaki are good choices. Tren (Club)- Altınoluk, Köprü Beach Club- Zeytinli, Firuze (New Generation Meyhane) Güre, Kuzey Ege Kafası (New Generation Meyhane) Edremit, Manuka Beach Club-Altınoluk are the entertainment addresses of Kazdağları.
Don't forget to accumulate plenty of oxygen.

Kartepe Panorama Suites
A place where five stars simply aren’t enough. At Kartepe Panorama Suites, you’ll find specially designed mountain houses for 2 or 4 people, along with 4 hotel rooms (deluxe with jacuzzi, suite, and standard). From the very first moment, you’re welcomed with such warmth especially by Ms. İrem and the entire team that it feels like visiting the home of a dear friend. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel valued. When you step into the house, you’re greeted with a fresh, clean breeze. Everything inside is spotless and thoughtfully chosen, as if someone had designed it for their own home. You’ll find all the essentials: pots, pans, plates, glasses, a pasta strainer, teapot, Turkish coffee maker, even tea, coffee, and sugar. The private pool, designed so that it’s not visible from outside or neighboring houses, is wonderful refreshing in summer and so much fun, especially for families. The view is breathtaking. Watching the sunset during the day and the city lights twinkling at night is incredibly peaceful. At the foot of the forest, surrounded by bird song, this is the perfect spot for quiet, restorative moments. Breakfast is served as a traditional spread, just as delicious and plentiful as any you’d find outside. From the restaurant, we only tried the burgers, which were excellent, and I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good because honestly, everything here is. If you’d like to barbecue, the staff even light the grill for you at no charge. All you have to do is bring your own meat and enjoy a poolside barbecue. For those who like watching TV, there are plenty of options, including YouTube and Netflix. The only “downside” we could think of was my son saying, “I love this house so much, can this be our home now?” That pretty much says it all. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back at the first opportunity.

Kitap Evi Hotel
Bursa is a rich city filled with the grandeur of the Ottoman past and deep religious memories. We can’t say how others feel about the atmosphere in Bursa, but we find it incredibly refreshing and vibrant. Here, we explore historic buildings with the originality and extraordinary beauty we always hope for, examining everything in detail. Now, let’s attempt to describe it: In many parts of the city center, we come across large fortress walls, ruins, and magnificent inns. And among many other remnants, we see the stunning Yeşil Türbe (Green Tomb), with its inscription perfectly preserved. In Ottoman times, it was built with thick brick walls, later covered with marble, and adorned with hexagonal tiles. Its richly decorated door makes it one of the most striking works of its era. Both in the city center and in other areas, we are mesmerized by the extraordinary and dazzling sight of lush, green branches of plane trees scattered everywhere—more magnificent than we’ve ever seen. Another thing we often do is explore Cumalıkızık Village, walking from one street to another without knowing where we’ll stop next. Truthfully, the greatest reward from our journeys are the moments we collect when we set out with the motto, "The journey is my destination." In the evening, we head to Kitap Evi Hotel to stay, located in a special elevated spot atop the largest bastion of the city walls. The shape of the mansion creates a beautiful view for Bursa. The hotel offers a unique collection of books, illustrations, and many beautiful paintings. Numerous candles are lit on the tables in the courtyard for dinner. During this season in September, we enjoy their unique and delicious wheat salads. When we stay in our favorite “suite room with a private bath,” our pleasure in being in Bursa more than doubles. Until now, nothing has matched the relaxation we get from enjoying the bath in our room. Just beyond this hotel is the large and significant Ulu Camii (Great Mosque), located about a 10-minute walk away.
- The rooms vary in size from 18 to 42 square meters.
- They offer a special 10% discount for followers of Small Hotels.
- There is a private parking lot nearby for guests to park their vehicles.
- Ideal for families with children of all ages.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Yunuseli Airport is 10 km away.
- Must-sees: The Inns district, Kozahan, Ulu Camii, Yeşil Türbe, the Grand Bazaar, Cumalıkızık Village, Gölyazı Village, the historic İnkaya plane tree, and a day trip to Uludağ by cable car.
For more detailed information, you can visit our Kitap Evi Hotel page.

Limnades Hotel
Here is the translation of your text: Limnades Hotel, with its 35 rooms, is located right on the shore of Lake İznik. It operates on a bed and breakfast basis, with à la carte service available for lunch and dinner. On Friday evenings, there’s live music. It’s ideal for a weekend getaway with loved ones. The rooms are decorated in cheerful colors. If you visit in the summer, you can enjoy your meal outdoors and relax by the pool. Afterward, you can even take a bike tour around the lake. For more information on activities and nearby places to visit, you can ask the hotel staff they are very helpful and attentive. If you're coming from Istanbul, you can reach the hotel in about an hour if you choose the Osmangazi Bridge. And one last detail: the hotel takes its name from the "Lake Fairy" in mythology. We were curious about its meaning, and maybe you are too :)
For more detailed information, you can visit our Limnades Hotel page.

Longosphere Glamping
The word “glamping” combines “glamorous” and “camping,” meaning a place where those who can’t give up comfort can experience being immersed in nature. The facility is so well-designed that within its 100-acre area, everything you might need is available: restaurant, market, barbecue area, pool, picnic areas, activities, entertainment, and walking paths. It’s a peaceful place in close connection with nature. It’s a 10-minute walk from the sea, and for those who prefer the pool, there’s one nestled among the trees on-site. The rooms are some of the cleanest tent-style accommodations I’ve seen. Since you’re in nature, be sure to bring insect repellent. As for activities, the facility offers a bike tour and an adventure island. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options could be expanded for a more satisfying spread. For families with children, we recommend the turtle tent bungalows, which have air conditioning, a bathroom, and a terrace, accommodating up to four people. Another accommodation type is the squirrel tent; these are triangular tents with a small transparent section on the roof where you can see the sky as you lie down. However, these tents don’t have a private WC or bathroom; shared facilities are available and remain uncrowded and well-cleaned, with one set for every six tents. The squirrel tents can host up to three people.
When you visit İğneada, there are plenty of activities both within and outside the facility:
- Adventure park in the facility (open to children over 1.30 m)
- Hiking in the 3,400-hectare Longoz Forest, best done with a guide.
- Canoe tours on Mert Lake an unmissable experience. Plus, there’s a café on the beach where you can enjoy a coffee or take a stroll along the shore.
- Have dinner at Roka Balık one evening start with some conversation in the late afternoon.
- Bike tours are enjoyable, but the current 15 bikes are not enough for everyone, so we brought our own for convenience.
- The picnic area is ideal for barbecue and grilling, thoughtfully designed. Note that day-trippers aren’t accepted at the facility.
- Evening gatherings around the fire at Yin Yang square (children are not allowed after 8:00 pm).
If you want to escape the city, relieve stress, breathe in lots of fresh air, be active, and spend time in nature, Longosphere may be just the place you’re looking for.

Villa Fe Çatalca
“Don’t save the best for later… You never know what tomorrow will bring,” said Paulo Coelho. (By the way, Coelho has many memorable quotes; if you’re interested, check out his writings. What more could an editor ask for?) We are at Villa Fe Çatalca, a place that has received countless wonderful reviews and where we find peace. This world-class mountain house and farm is located in Istanbul's Çatalca, just 45 minutes from the new airport. Set on a vast 80-acre property, it features ponds, fish, greenhouses with naturally grown vegetables and fruits, a pool, spa, Turkish bath, and a villa with 22 rooms. As a team obsessed with fireplaces, Villa Fe is our favorite winter spot. Here, we sleep soundly in beautiful rooms, waking up refreshed and ready to start the day with our puffy, well-rested faces. We enjoy the delicious creations of our skilled chef, then take a delightful walk outside, breathing in the fresh air (the weather is chilly at this time of year, so bring warm clothes). The rooms are stylish and cool, with an “American country” vibe. King suites are also available if desired. Breakfast is a buffet filled with a variety of items, with warm, fluffy dishes. For afternoon tea, there are delicious snacks. The clientele is quite sophisticated. Dinner offers a daily menu. For special occasions, homemade Italian-style pizzas, as well as lamb and goat cooked in a stone oven, are favorites. By the way, you can ask for a salad to be prepared with fresh vegetables from the garden or purchase organic fruits and vegetables here.
- It’s a pet-friendly hotel.
- Parking is available if you come by car.
- Suitable for individuals with disabilities.
- You can come with your children.

Lunar Cappadocia Hotel
Fairy Chimney Forest, Cappadocia... When I think of Cappadocia, two things come to mind: hot air balloons and the cave dwellings where I can discover the essence of living in rock-carved rooms. How about you? We are at Lunar Cappadocia Hotel, a place we experienced and wrote about for you. A door opens in the most peaceful part of Göreme, nestled among the fantastical-shaped fairy chimneys. Upon entering the door, you’re first greeted by an ancient mulberry tree, now draped in winter colors, but still with its colorful leaves. Then, you pass through a large, lush garden and meet the charming and warm-hearted owner, Mr. Numan, along with the unique, authentic rooms. It’s quite surprising to find such a beautiful green garden and independent rooms in the heart of Göreme. Lunar Cappadocia Hotel is a small, elegant hotel that pulls me into a different world with every detail. The independent rooms at Lunar open to verandas adorned with flowers and all have a simple, calming décor. One of the rooms offers a view of the sunrise, with balloons floating right outside, while another features a round bed and jacuzzi, perfect for a day of relaxation.
Must-Dos in Cappadocia
- Göreme Open-Air Museum, about 1 km from the center of Göreme, is an essential part of any visit to Cappadocia. It features two dozen rock-hewn churches, some adorned with frescoes and others with simple geometric decorations.
- After the museum, visit Zelve and Avanos Market.
- During this time of year, Cappadocia is incredibly beautiful. Be sure to take a walk in Love Valley at sunset – it’s truly mesmerizing
- If you can find a spot, Seten Restaurant with its stunning view should definitely be a place to visit.
- Another recommendation is the Göreme Women's Cooperative, where the women of Göreme work tirelessly. Here, you can experience the traditional culinary culture of Nevşehir. I recommend trying the stuffed grape leaves, Peravu, and meat stew.
- Historical Göreme Coffeehouse is an integral part of Göreme. This café, with its view of the Roman Castle, is a perfect spot to enjoy a drink!
A side note: (The famous Kavala Cookie became famous with the recipe of the wife of Gaplan Ağa, who migrated from Cappadocia to Kavala:)
The garden of Lunar is like an oasis, a rare find in Cappadocia… The terrace level, with its panoramic view of Göreme, is one of the most enjoyable areas of the hotel. Sunrises are another world, and sunsets are magical here. If you’re lucky enough to be here during a full moon, you must watch the magnificent rise of the moon from here!
The caves are architectural examples dating back centuries in Cappadocia. Lunar Cappadocia Hotel will be a good choice for those looking to experience the real essence of Cappadocia. With its location, views, spacious cave-carved rooms, and hospitality, it offers simplicity and elegance in every detail, with a comfortable, bright, and airy atmosphere.
Thoughtful hosts also offer special tours for their guests. If you’ve arrived by plane, they provide transfer services as well. If you want to explore Cappadocia from a different perspective, you can visit their Turtle Tour agency in the town center and join the personalized tours they organize. Have a great time exploring the fairy chimney forest in Cappadocia…
The fact that Lunar is located in a quiet spot, where cars don’t pass by, is truly delightful. You can easily park your vehicle. They also have their own electric charging station.

Turkuaz Köy
I will tell you about a wild and extraordinary place in Finike that reminds one of the untouched Amazon forests; Turkuaz Köy. It’s a place that offers not only hotel and yoga facilities, but also tennis courts, dining options, and accommodation opportunities. The slow pace of the Gökçay River is mesmerizing. There are water turtles, various birds, and seagulls living in the river.
Turkuaz Köy Hotel has become legendary in its area. With its unique and personalized structure, you immediately feel you're in a place that is thoughtfully crafted. At the helm is Mr. Celal. This place, free from tight spaces, is spread out leisurely among the orange groves. The air is filled with the scent of orange blossoms. Surrounded by citrus trees and mandarins, it’s guaranteed that you will be able to curl up with a good book and relax. For guests, there are 11 luxury bungalow-style accommodations overlooking the river. Each of the river-view rooms is a modest paradise, with a delightful design that expresses comfort and taste. Guests can also purchase the oranges and lemons grown in the garden. They set up tables for breakfast in a pleasant environment. The citrus jams, cheeses, and vegetables are all from their own produce. The whole ambiance feels like a chic home gathering. The sea is 1 km down below, and for those who wish to swim in the river, a natural pool awaits. What more could you ask for? Their restaurant is also very successful; you won’t need to look for another place. In the evening, the surrounding area is filled with Mediterranean scents. The best months to visit are October and November, when Finike transforms into a visual feast. It's an interesting option for those seeking complete tranquility. On top of that, you can also enjoy orienteering, a sport suitable for all ages. Three different maps and beautiful routes are waiting for you. You can take a small boat ride on the river for a peaceful excursion. Gökliman Cove, with its vivid turquoise color, is another cove you might want to visit for a swim.

Canada Hotel & Bungalows
When we think of Çıralı, it’s not just the nature that resists humans or the kind, nature that surrenders to humans. In this part of the world, there are so many lives buried beneath the soil… Even when we attempt to sketch this place in our notebooks, we are drawn to the clusters of citrus trees and the red clouds stretching across the sky at sunset.
In Çıralı, there are hidden paths diverging from the main roads that lead to routes waiting to be discovered. We are heading to Canada Hotel & Bungalows, surrounded by palm trees. Mr. Şaban and his wife Carrie, who is originally from Canada, have been running Canada Hotel, a popular stop for nature enthusiasts, since June 1994. The charming bungalows, made of cedar wood, with verandas, are arranged in a beautiful, spacious garden full of greenery. It’s popular with families and honeymoon couples. Additionally, there are renovated rooms in the main building. Everyone is in their own element here. In the tranquil garden, surrounded by greenery, hammocks underneath fruit trees that protect from the scorching sun invite you to relax. Or, if you prefer, you can enjoy the swimming pool or yoga studio. If you need the sea, Çıralı Beach is just 2 minutes away by hotel bikes. The facility is 800m from the beach and 400m from the village center. Free bicycles are available for adult guests staying at the hotel. There’s also a cobblestone path leading up to Chimera. There’s so much to do here, and it’s up to you to choose. You can easily spend hours with a good book. While enjoying your breakfast, your taste buds will be enchanted by homemade jams and other local products. Special dietary needs, such as vegetarian and vegan meals, are also catered to. You can enjoy traditional Turkish cuisine and beloved Mediterranean dishes by the pool. Mr. Şaban is very meticulous when it comes to food, and when you taste his dishes, especially the grilled fish, you will understand what he means. Your world will be more beautiful. Rota Kilidonia Karaöz Suites & Villas
The best time to walk the Lycian Way, filled with the footprints of great ancestors, is now. For those who say, "I can't walk," let's invite them to witness the view of a turquoise-green paradise. Come here, I'm in Karaöz, Antalya’s magnificent bay. Rota Kilidonia Karaöz Suites & Villas, named after the Gelidonya Lighthouse, is one of the newest facilities in the region. I’d say it's worth visiting just for its nature, but they’ve added wonderful comfort to this paradise! The aesthetic architecture of Rota Kilidonia Karaöz Suites & Villas includes not only comfort but also peace. The suites are modernly designed with light colors and wood accents. Everything inside is carefully thought out and perfectly placed. The 5 suites with private pools and fireplaces are almost like homes, with a spacious 102 square meters. You can also choose the suites with jacuzzis and live your month like a honeymoon! I'm not sure whether it's the beauty of the season or if they've made the season even more beautiful. I think both are true in Karaöz! The most beautiful routes of the Lycian Way pass through here. The point where the Gelidonya Lighthouse stands is the most scenic part of the trail. The lighthouse’s name is derived from the Lycian word "Kaledonya," meaning swallow. According to one legend, it was a resting place for migratory swallows. Karaöz, located in Kumluca district, is full of traces of deep history. For example, the ancient city of Rhodiapolis, founded by the Rhodians. While walking through the ancient city, imagining how it once was is entirely up to your imagination. I also recommend a Suluada boat tour, which will challenge your imagination with its beauty, and a visit to Adrasan, where simplicity meets grandeur. My first recommendation for food in the area is Kilidonia Restaurant, within the facility. They offer dinner options and serve flavors from world cuisine. I also recommend Öz Likya Restaurant, where you can fully enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean cuisine, packed with freshly caught seafood.
- Unfortunately, it's not suitable for pets.
- The place is very suitable for families with children, and they even have a children's pool.
- The sandy beach is just 100 meters away from the facility.

Yeşil Çizme Doğa Evi
Our peaceful days spent in nature at Yeşil Çizme Nature House, which we reached by escaping to Safranbolu, remind us once again how valuable it is to get away from city life. Just 5 minutes from Safranbolu, at an altitude of 650 meters, this paradise is surrounded by lush forests and is a true retreat hotel filled with the sounds of birds chirping and water flowing. The icy spring water in the garden has been filling the hotel’s ornamental pools for years and becomes the most natural way to cool off on hot summer days. There are many reasons to visit here not only in summer but also in autumn and winter. In fact, I’ve already started dreaming of roasting chestnuts by the fireplace in the winter! Yeşil Çizme is a small and stylish hotel with a total of 6 rooms. We’re staying in a spacious and comfortable villa. This place is actually designed for eight people, but it’s so relaxing and peaceful that we ended up extending our stay from one night to two. Sipping coffee on the balcony while enjoying the magnificent view is truly an unmatched experience. The hotel operates on a bed-and-breakfast basis, but you can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The menu is rich and delicious, so you can truly pamper yourself here. The warm hospitality of the hotel owners, Cem and Tuğba, makes you feel at home. You can see their touch in every detail. The entire restoration process of the hotel was done by them, which makes this place even more special. Instead of hiring an architect, they used their own vision to create such a beautiful space. The location of Yeşil Çizme is also quite beautiful. It’s very close to historical and natural attractions like Safranbolu’s old town, Tokatlı Canyon, and Mencilis Cave. We left the hotel and took a short trip to visit Safranbolu’s famous houses, the blacksmiths' bazaar, and Yörük Village. We also hiked in Tokatlı Canyon and climbed up to the glass terrace. There are so many beautiful things to explore in this region. Being here right now is a perfect opportunity to escape the stress of the city and spend quality time in nature. If you want to experience this tranquility, Yeşil Çizme Nature House might be exactly what you're looking for.
For more detailed information, feel free to visit our Yeşil Çizme Nature House page!
