How to get to Heybeliada, What to do, Travel Guide

Do you ever feel helpless in crowded cities? Does Istanbul's hectic pace overwhelm you? Have you ever wanted to escape the crowds and immerse yourself in nature? Well, Heybeliada is the perfect place for you. It's a place that can truly take away your stress, fatigue, and negative energy. Come to this delightful place, surrender yourself to the lush greenery and the deep blue sea. Listen to your soul, and even rejuvenate it. Do it right at the peak of your work, your pace, your heavy burden. Do it so that Heybeliada never leaves your mind with what it leaves behind.

Heybeliada, one of Istanbul's unique places, is also one of the first two islands of the same city, given its size. It's a natural wonder with its cool air, pine-covered paths, and beautiful sea. It can be said to be a cultural treasure as well, as it contains works from the Ottoman and Byzantine eras, and even the Republican period.

Especially in the spring and summer months, Heybeliada is inundated with visitors. But it's more special during the transition from spring to summer, rather than the peak summer months. Because in the summer, the heat can sometimes become unbearable. For a day trip, it's one of the best options in Istanbul and its surroundings. With its clean air, long and mysterious paths, the harmony of both Greek and Turkish architecture, and its charming little cafes, Heybeliada awaits its visitors. It's called Heybeliada because it looks like a bag or satchel on the Istanbul coast, hence the old name "heybe" meaning bag. It's not very high, about 150 meters, but with its geographical and historical-cultural conditions, it's definitely one of the places that must be visited. We believe that while exploring Heybeliada, you will taste that mystical atmosphere. We also believe that Istanbul should be viewed from this perspective as well. Sometimes, we need to notice the beauty right next to us.
