Yukarı Sokak is a hotel in a 180 years old stone building in which a daughter and a mother have brought together their experience and their excitement so that they could contribute to carry on the sui generis sprit and identity of Alaçatı. The hotel has been named “Yukarı Sokak” (Upper Street) in order to preserve the street name after the streets have been renamed with numbers. During the reconstruction of the hotel, which tells an Aegean fairy tale, no new trees were cut for the wood works and each corner was engraved using local labor and materials.
In Yukarı Sokak you can taste the Alaçatı delights from the hands of Ms. Aysen who won first place in the 1st Alaçatı Herb Festival with her ‘40 Herbs Salad’. You can walk to the Alaçatı Market in two minutes and take the vegetables and fruits grown in the rich Aegean soil just as they have been picked. If you believe that it is only the summers that are beautiful in Alaçatı in Yukarı Sokak there is a constantly boiling teapot, chestnuts and orange peels on the kitchen stove in the winter months. The Kadıbeşegil family is serving their guests throughout the year to share this fairy tale experience with them in Alaçatı.
