I saw the Yuvacık dam on the internet and liked it very much. While I was wondering where to visit and stay, I came across the KARACADAĞ FOREST HOUSES built in the forest. When I saw the good comments, we set off from Istanbul to Kocaeli Yuvacık dam. We reached the facility around 1.30 hours on the road with forest and dam lake views. We reached the facility among the huge trees. 8-9 bungolows placed in it. The environment is cool. But the owners, Gülten-Yılmaz KARACA, were incredibly friendly and heartfelt. We were enchanted by their incredibly friendly and heartfelt welcome. Also, our tour around the area was wonderful, with the guidance of dear Yılmaz. The temperature dropped to 12 degrees at night. You wouldn't believe it if we said we slept with a quilt. One never feels like leaving. Absolutely. It is a wonderful recreation place that must be seen. Go and see. The food and atmosphere are very decent and legendary. The people here are very friendly and you feel at home. Sitting by the fire in the evening in the cold has a different atmosphere. We definitely recommend you to come. We came as two families and we liked it very much.

You become like relatives in a few hours with people you have never met. Mr. Yılmaz is a very sincere person. They turned the living room of their own house into a dining room. You enter with slippers. A cozy house. The food is like your mother's food. The salad was amazing :) The rooms are heated and warm. Very clean. We didn't go during the season but we liked it very much. We will be there again in the summer.
