Built at the beginning of the 19th century, Havuzlu Asmazlar Konagi consists of 3 historic mansions surrounded by landscaped gardens in the centre of Safranbolu. Safranbolu's Old Town district of Çarşı is a protected site by UNESCO and only 300 metres from the property. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Traditionally decorated rooms at the Havuzlu Asmazlar Konagi feature LED TV with satellite channels and heating. Each room has spacious seating area.

We were very pleased. We stayed for two nights. The hotel is within walking distance of the old bazaar. We often went to the bazaar. The rooms are clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but it is satisfying. It's nice to sip coffee by the pool while listening to records. Of course there is hot water 24 hours a day. The rooms are large and you can easily stay with children. There is a playground for small children. It is very enjoyable to have breakfast in the garden under the walnut tree.

As I write these lines, I am sitting in his garden and under the walnut trees. A very beautiful place. The employees are very respectful and caring. The food was the best I had in Safranbolu. Pecan Noodles are great. One of the best shepherd's salads I've ever eaten was here. I hope that this institution will be kept alive for many years.

If Safranbolu is on your route, I recommend you stay the night in such a historical hotel. After visiting the historical places with a guide during the day and getting information about them, it is a hotel where you can stay at night and be satisfied.
